六兵衛の妻たけが鉾持村の役人に申し出たことは、六兵衛の御役米を年貢完納分の中に加えていただけるよう、使者を通じて申し入れました。
一方、伊勢屋善助が鉾持村の名主のもとに参り申したことは、六兵衛の件についてお聞き及びの事情により年貢未納もございますが、同人の御役米の割り当て分について、その未納分の中に含めて引き取っていただきたいと善助は申しましたが、名主半右衛門が申すには、たけの方からも話があったので、すべてをその分に入れてしまってはたけがあれこれ言うことになるので、三年ほどの未納分に入れて残りをたけの方へ渡し、年貢に差し継ぐのが良いであろうと半右衛門は理解いたしました。

Regarding what Take, the wife of Rokubei, petitioned to the village officials of Hokemochi village: she sent a messenger requesting that Rokubei's official rice tax be included within the completed annual tax payment.
Regarding what Iseya Zensuke came to petition to the village headman of Hokemochi village: concerning the matter of Rokubei about which you have heard, there are also unpaid annual taxes, and Zensuke requested that the man's allocated official rice tax be included and taken care of within those unpaid amounts. However, Village Headman Hanemon stated that since there had also been discussion from Take's side, if everything were included in that portion, Take would have various complaints. Therefore, it would be appropriate to include it in about three years' worth of unpaid amounts, send the remainder to Take's household, and continue it toward the annual tax payment - this is what Hanemon understood.
