様（やう）の物となり此中に凝（こ）り固（かたま）りたるもの交
るもあり、或は腹（はら）雷鳴（なり）能く外に聞へ、悪心（むかへけ）、嘔（は）
吐（き）を発し、初は食物又 胆汁様（たんじふやう）のもの若くは
他物、後 斑点（まだらなるもの）を雑ふる水様の汁を吐逆す、胃（むな）
部（さき）痞（つかへ）重（おもきこと）増し、小便 短少（すくなく）、後全く癃閉（つうせず）甚だしき
煩躁（もだへ）苦悶（くるしみ）に堪へず、臂（うで）、臑（かいな）殊に腓（こむら）の筋（すじ）転筋（こむらかへり）し
陰嚢（いんのう）までも痙攣（ひきつり）をなすこと稀ならず、斯の如
き二三の症或尚多くの諸症を発すれば既

〇 症候（やうだい）漸次（しだい）に増加し顔貌（かほつき）は此病 固有（ありまへ）の状（すがた）
を現（あら）はし甚▢く消削（やせ）、鉛色（なまりいろ）となり、眼は深く
眼窩（がんくは）中に陥没（おちこみ）、鼻（はな）、顋（あぎと）、耳、手、足 厥冷（ひへ）、且 呼吸（いき）まで

まだ温かく湿っており、大便は褐黄色、あるいはすでに薄い汁のようなものとなり、この中に凝り固まったものが混じることもある。あるいは腹鳴がよく外まで聞こえ、悪心、嘔吐を発し、初めは食物または胆汁様のもの若しくは他の物質、後には斑点を混じえる水様の汁を吐く。胃部のつかえ感と重苦しさが増し、小便は少量となり、後には全く出なくなる。激しい煩躁と苦悶に耐えられず、上腕、前腕、特にふくらはぎの筋肉がけいれんし、陰嚢までもけいれんすることが稀ではない。このような二、三の症状、あるいはさらに多くの諸症状を発すれば、すでに暴瀉（コロリ）病であることは疑いの余地がない《注記：なお、この他に声がかれる等の症状もある》
