かんしん股(またを)くゞるすごい浮世(うきよ)におれほどあほうな十六兵衛

させて切狂言にわかるとは沢瀉の趣向。当世はこのように入り組まぬと向かぬ世の中。草木芝居もばかにされぬと、一人感心して股をくぐる、すごい浮世に俺ほど阿呆な十六兵衛もまた一人はあるまいと、おのずから述懐するも、よくよくの抜け作とお腹を叩き、「どちらもこちらも、ひいき無く一等なぐりになぐった枝葉、どなたも御免下されませ」と一冊の小本となすも、十六兵衛が本の無駄書きと筆を草家の机に捨てると、
思えば誠に夢は覚めにけり。

陰陽の老変、五行の相生は四季の移り変わりのごとし。その始めの気を尽くさざる内は次の気を生ぜず。寸木尺樹も木生火の道理がこもり、なお未だ木の気を満てねば火の気を生ずるに及ばず。草木変化の説に、唐の武三思が家に仕えし美女、牡丹の精が化して�寵愛の恩を謝す。狄仁傑が道徳に恐れ

"To understand this in a brief kyōgen play shows Takusha's ingenuity. In today's world, unless things are this complicated, they won't work. Even plant theater cannot be ridiculed," so thinking to himself with admiration, crawling through legs in this remarkable floating world, "there probably isn't another fool like me, Jūrokubei," he naturally reflects. Recognizing himself as quite the simpleton, he slaps his belly and says, "Whether this side or that side, I've beaten all the branches and leaves equally without favoritism - please forgive me, everyone." Making this into a single small book, Jūrokubei throws his brush onto the desk of his humble house, calling it mere scribbling.
When I think about it, truly the dream has awakened.
