When the younger brother King Sukazenan heard that the prime minister himself was coming down as his elder brother emperor's envoy, he took his retainers with him, all splendidly dressed in ceremonial robes, and went far outside the castle to welcome him. Setting aside all other matters, he devoted himself entirely to first inquiring about his elder brother emperor's well-being. When the prime minister replied that he was in good health, and then explained the main purpose of this embassy, King Sukazenan, thinking of his elder brother emperor's deep fraternal love, could not contain his tears of emotion.
