リ還リケレバ野老思ハズ声ヲ挙ゲ妙哉吾児ナ
リ奇哉吾児再ビ還リタリト相抱ヒテ悲喜 交（コモ〳〵）生
ジ姑（シバラ）ク言葉モ出ザリシガ漸クニシテ賎息ニ告
ル様今此処ニ在ル女子実ニ汝ガ為メニ大恩人
ナルゾ汝ガ必死ノ難ヲ済（スク）ヒ再ビ汝ヲ人トナラ
シメタル大恩人ナルゾ汝必ズ悦ンデ彼女ヲ妻
トセン余先ヅ既ニ之ヲ約セシゾヤト説示シケ
現代語訳
ざる呪文を唱え、その水を子牛の全身に振りかけると、驚くべきことに、今まで子牛と見えていた者が忽ち一人の美少年となって姿を変え、立派な息子の姿となって戻ってきた。老人は思わず声を上げて「素晴らしい、我が子だ。不思議なことよ、我が子が再び戻ってきた」と抱き合って悲しみと喜びが入り混じり、しばらく言葉も出なかったが、ようやく息子に告げるには「今ここにいる女性は、実にお前のために大恩人なのだ。お前の生死にかかわる災難を救い、再びお前を人間にしてくれた大恩人なのだ。お前は必ず喜んで彼女を妻とするであろう。私は既にこれを約束したのだ」と説き聞かせた。

The old man involuntarily raised his voice, saying "Wonderful, it is my child! How marvelous, my child has returned again!" They embraced each other with mixed feelings of sorrow and joy, and for a while no words came out. Eventually he spoke to his son: "The woman who is here now is truly a great benefactor to you. She is the great benefactor who saved you from mortal peril and made you human again. You must gladly take her as your wife. I have already promised this."
