遏藍菜（あつらんさい） 軍配菜（ぐんばいなつな） 和俗では江戸

その実の莢（さや）は■に似て大きく、形状が軍配団扇に似ているため、この名前が付いた。江戸府内の別の場所には生えず、品川・川崎辺りに生える。

Its seed pods resemble ■ but are large, and their shape resembles a military fan, hence the name. It does not grow in other places within Edo prefecture, but grows around Shinagawa and Kawasaki.
