約束は朽ちることのないものなので、巡り会えた嬉しさよ。なぜそのように憂鬱になるのか。まるでありえないことのように」と様々に慰めなさって、清涼殿へお帰りになって、内侍を呼んで「この人をよくよく慰め申し上げよ」と本当に心苦しそうにお命じになった。そうしているうちに二十七日にもなった。今日は女御の立后の式だということで、ささやき合って、弘徽殿の上人が参上なさったと申し上げた。この女御は帝の妃にいらっしゃるので、承香殿にお住まわせ申し上げるべきところでいらっしゃるが、内侍局にその人（姫君）がいらっしゃる間は、御殿も手狭なので、この人を承香殿に
