一、元禄九年の覚書（書付）一通と記されたものの中に、様々な用向きに関する切紙・書状など合わせて六通あり。
一、御先祖に関する書付等が含まれる切紙・横物など合わせて六通あり。
（上書きには「御下書之御知行高之員数計」とあり、奥山大学が執権を務めていた時期のものなどと記された包み紙である。）
※右の一口（ひとまとめ）は箱の中には入れず、箱の上に置き、袱紗（ふくさ）に包んで保管してあること。

[The following overlaps with the previous frame]
Item: Within what is labeled as one memorandum (kakigaki) from the ninth year of Genroku [1696], there are various documents including cut-paper notices and letters, totaling six items.
Item: Cut-paper documents and horizontal-format writings (yokomono) concerning ancestral records, totaling six items.
(The outer wrapping bears a notation indicating these pertain to the draft records of stipend amounts, and notes that these date from the time when Okuyama Daigaku served as shikken [administrative official].)
※ Note: The aforementioned group of items is not stored inside the box, but placed on top of it, wrapped in a fukusa [silk wrapping cloth] for preservation.
