二男十兵衛信知は父と一緒に伊賀国にいたところ、母の弟で堀内
内匠という者が生駒讃岐守殿に仕えており、信知を養子にしたため讃岐
国へ移り、別の知行を得ていたところ、養父内匠に事情があってその家を立ち退く
ことになった。信知については引き止められたが、病気であると申し立てて暇を取り立ち退いた。
その後、御家（福井藩）に召し出された。

松平備中守親則七代の孫である。慶長年中、権現様（徳川家康）の上意により
上総介様（松平忠輝）に奉仕し、信州松城の御城代を務めた。その時分に拝領した
御墨印・御腰物・御幕等を今でも伝えている。上総介様の御廃易の後、
越後国に蟄居していたところ、本多伊豆守・松平備前方から申し越しがあり、当国へ移って召し出された。
同御代寛永三丙寅年（1626年）
跡知を下された その時二歳

中頃に称号を荒川と改めたところ、光通公の御意により松平に復し、その節
桐の御紋を下された。

The second son Jūbei Nobutomo was staying in Iga Province together with his father when his mother's younger brother, a man called Horiuchi
Takumi, who served Lord Ikoma Sanuki-no-kami, adopted Nobutomo as his son. He moved to
Sanuki Province and obtained separate territory. However, when his adoptive father Takumi had certain circumstances and had to leave that house,
although they tried to detain Nobutomo, he claimed illness, took leave, and departed.
Thereafter, he was summoned to serve the (Fukui) domain.

He is the seventh-generation grandson of Matsudaira Bitchū-no-kami Chikanori. During the Keichō era, by the command of Gongen-sama (Tokugawa Ieyasu),
he served Kazusa-no-suke-sama (Matsudaira Tadateru) and served as castle deputy of Matsushiro Castle in Shinshū. The
written seal, sword, and curtain that he received at that time are still preserved today. After Kazusa-no-suke-sama's domain abolition,
he was living in confinement in Echigo Province when word came from Honda Izu-no-kami and Matsudaira Bizen, and he moved to this province and was summoned.
