奉行相勤申候朝鮮陣之時分モ供仕於彼地働有之為褒美
相州秋広之脇指賜之于今伝来所持仕候其節之感状並ニ
分捕仕候剣清正之朱印等ハ火災仕候而唯今所持不仕候
加藤肥後守忠広代ニ到而家潰レ家中一同ニ浪人仕候以
後 忠昌公御代御合力米弐百俵ト十人扶持被下置被

貞利は加藤主計頭清正に仕え、知行三百五十石を給わり、作事
奉行を務めた。朝鮮出兵の時分も供をして、かの地で働きがあったため、褒美として
相州秋広の脇指を賜り、今に至るまで伝来として所持している。その節の感状並びに
分捕りした剣、清正の朱印等は火災により、只今は所持していない。
加藤肥後守忠広の代に至って家が潰れ、家中一同に浪人した。その
後、忠昌公の御代に御合力米二百俵と十人扶持を下され置かれ、
召し出された。

Summoned during Lord Tadamasa's reign in Kan'ei 13, year of the Fire Rat (1636)
● Betsui Kihei Sadatoshi 《Home province and birth province both Kawachi; family name unknown》
Sadatoshi served under Katō Kazue-no-kami Kiyomasa, received a fief of 350 koku, and served as
construction magistrate (sakuji-bugyō). During the Korean campaign, he also accompanied [his lord] and
distinguished himself in that land. As a reward, he was granted a wakizashi by Sōshū Akihiro,
which has been passed down and is still possessed to this day. The commendation letter from that time, along with
a captured sword and Kiyomasa's vermillion seal, were lost in a fire and are no longer in possession.
When it came to the time of Katō Higo-no-kami Tadahiro, the house collapsed and all the retainers
became rōnin. Afterward, during Lord Tadamasa's reign, he was granted relief rice of 200 hyō
and stipends for ten men, and was summoned [to service].
