【右丁】
忠昌公の御代に知行千石を下し置かれ、召し出すべき旨で備後国福山
より越前へ参る途中、山城国において病死した。この不運により
身上が成り立たなかったところ、同年の秋に再び日向守殿の願いで内蔵助の息子
加藤所左衛門重直が寛永十五年戊寅年（1638年）に召し出された。光通公の御代、
吉品公の前の御代まで勤め、延宝四年丙辰年（1676年）に病気により願い出て御暇を
いただき出家した。

During Lord Tadamasa's reign, he was granted a stipend of 1,000 koku and was to be summoned to service. While traveling from Fukuyama in Bingo Province
to Echizen, he died of illness in Yamashiro Province. Due to this misfortune,
his affairs could not be settled. However, in the autumn of the same year, again through the petition of Lord Hyūga-no-kami, Uchikurasuke's son
Katō Shozaemon Shigenao was summoned to service in the 15th year of Kan'ei, year of Earth Tiger (1638). He served during Lord Mitsumichi's reign
until the reign before Lord Yoshishina's time, and in the 4th year of Enpō, year of Fire Dragon (1676), due to illness, he petitioned for and received
leave and entered the priesthood.
