● Watari Kakudayū Tokisada《Home province and birth province both Shinano|Family name: Minamoto, original name: Ogasawara》
His ancestor was a descendant of Ogasawara Shinano-no-kami Nagatoki, lord of Matsumoto Castle in Shinano Province. A man called Ogasawara Gyōbu
had been a village samurai (gōshi) in Shiozaki village in Shinano Province since around the time of his birth in the Tenbun era.
At that time he abandoned his original name and changed his title to Shiozaki. Around the Genki era, he served under Takeda
Shingen's banner and died of illness in his prime. His son Kakudayū Tokisada remained
in Shiozaki village when he was summoned into service. At that time he changed his title, adopting the local name Watari
from a place near Shiozaki village, and changed to Watari. Tokisada's succession rights were granted to his eldest son
Jūbee, but later due to poor health, during Lord Mitsumichi's reign he requested leave
and became a monk. As a result, the main family line was discontinued.
