より御取寄に相成

Vaccine material should be transmitted to everyone
The material for this variolation originally came through the efforts of a certain daimyo in western Japan, who had it imported from Holland. He had his princess inoculated with it, and then distributed the vaccine material to his retainers.

From this it spread throughout all of Japan. "Vaccine material" refers to the good pus from the smallpox pustules that have developed. Since one's own child escaped great calamity by using another child's pus as vaccine material, it is also proper to transmit one's own child's pus to other people's children. Moreover, since taking this causes no harm whatsoever, physicians also collect and transmit it to ensure it never runs out. Should there be any poison in that child...
