酒説総論中
〇 酒（さけ）の疾病（しつへい）を為（なす）事（こと）その症候（しやうこう）いくばくと云（いふ）事
を知（しら）ず先（まつ）内経（たいきやう）にしば〳〵酒（さけ）の病（やまひ）を為（なす）事をいへり
昔（むかし）の扁鵲（へんじやく）と云（いふ）明医（めいい）の言（こと）に過飲（くはいん）は腸（ちやう）を腐（くさら）し胃（ゐ）
を爛（たゝら）かし髄（ずい）を潰（つゐや）し筋（すじ）を蒸（むし）神（しん）を敗（やふり）寿（ことふき）を損（そん）ず
といへり其外（そのほか）張仲景（ちやうちうけい）の金匱要略（きんきようりやく）巣元方（さうけんはう）の病源論（ひやうけんろん）

○ 酒の疾病を引き起こすことについて、その症状がどれほどのものかということを知らず、まず『内経』にしばしば酒が病気を引き起こすことが述べられている。
昔の扁鵲という名医の言葉に、「過度の飲酒は腸を腐らせ、胃を爛れさせ、髄を潰し、筋を蒸し、神を敗り、寿命を損なう」とある。

○ Not knowing how much disease sake causes and what symptoms it produces, first in the Inner Classic (Neijing), it frequently states that sake causes illness.
The words of the ancient famous physician Bian Que state: "Excessive drinking rots the intestines, ulcerates the stomach, destroys the marrow, steams the tendons, ruins the spirit, and damages longevity."
