ゟ〆り方相勤諸事心を付諸生之
取扱宜致其上書学寮へ引移罷在

現代語訳
妻 武井源内の女（文政三年（1820年）六月十八日病死、法名専称洗禅誉妙念大姉、葬所は同上）
一、天明八年（1788年）十月、書学寮の〆り方を仰せ付けられた件
一、寛政五年（1793年）十二月、書学寮御役の節より〆り方を相勤め、諸事に心を付け、諸生の取り扱いを良く致し、その上書学寮へ引き移り罷在し、労費も厭わず出精して相勤めることに付き、御褒美として銀子三枚を下し置かれた件
一、同六年（1794年）十月、書学寮師範を仰せ付けられた件
一、同七年（1795年）十一月、兼ねてより筆道に志し、出精して修行致し、且つ去年中より書学寮において指南を仰せ付けられた処、追々門弟共も増し、良く取り立てることに付き、格別の訳を以て三人扶持を下し置かれた件
一、同九年（1797年）正月、書学寮指南を仰せ付け置かれた処、出精して諸生を良く取り立てることに付き、三人扶持の御増を下し置かれた件
英語訳
Wife: Daughter of Takei Gen'nai (died of illness on the 18th day, 6th month of Bunsei 3 (1820), Buddhist name Senshō Senzen'yo Myōnen Daishi, burial site: same as above)
One: In the 10th month of Tenmei 8 (1788), he was appointed to the accounting position (shimari-kata) at the Shogakuryō (academy).
One: In the 12th month of Kansei 5 (1793), serving in the accounting position since his appointment to academy duties, he attended to all matters carefully, handled the students well, and moreover moved to reside at the academy, working diligently without begrudging labor and expense. For this, he was rewarded with three pieces of silver.
One: In the 10th month of the same 6th year (1794), he was appointed as instructor (shihan) at the Shogakuryō.
One: In the 11th month of the same 7th year (1795), having long aspired to the way of calligraphy and practiced diligently, and having been appointed to teach at the Shogakuryō since the previous year, his disciples gradually increased and he trained them well. For this exceptional service, he was granted a stipend of three persons' worth.
One: In the 1st month of the same 9th year (1797), having been appointed as instructor at the Shogakuryō and working diligently to train students well, his stipend was increased by an additional three persons' worth.
