同六年に大御番へ入り、寛永四年九月十二日に病死しました《その時年四十二歳、法名■陽院観意応察、葬所》 《同上》その子志摩守政邦が遺跡を相続し、追々御取立てを下され、後に 東福門院様の御附を勤め、在京中の寛文六年四月晦日に彼の地で病死しました《その時年六十二歳、法名恵光院前志州青■道徹導師、京都知円寺葬所、知行所のうち摂津》 《玉島下郡奈良村》病気の節に上聞に達した処、早速倅与五左衛門に御暇を下され、上京した節に油断なく養生すべき旨、御老中様方の御連名の御奉書を成し下されました《私宛にも御奉書等然り》 《今所持仕候》嫡男は当時御小姓組板橋勝三郎家にあり、二男八兵衛盛征は正保四年十二月《新規召し出され小十人三宅伝左衛門組に入り相勤め、慶安三年十二月二十七日》 に御切米百俵を下され、その後組頭等を勤めた処、願いにより御役を御免成され小普請入り、元禄六年八月二十五日七十七歳にて病死しました《法名涼照院法誉性徹、葬所武州赤坂一ツ木平河山浄土寺》その子孫は今の小普請板橋錬蔵家にあり、三男名兵衛重昌は大田原山城守高清の猶子となり野州に

In the same 6th year he entered the ōgoban (great guard), and died of illness on the 12th day of the 9th month of Kan'ei 4 (1627) <<At that time aged 42, Buddhist name ■yō-in Kan'i Ōsatsu, burial place>> <<Same as above>> His son Shima-no-kami Masakuni inherited the estate, received gradual promotions, and later served as an attendant to Tōfukumon-in-sama (Empress Masako), dying of illness at that location on the last day of the 4th month of Kanbun 6 (1666) while in Kyoto <<At that time aged 62, Buddhist name Ekō-in former Shishū Sei■ Dōtetsu guide priest, buried at Chien-ji Temple in Kyoto, within his fief in Settsu Province>> <<Tamashima Lower District, Nara Village>> When his illness was reported to the lord, his son Yogosaemon was immediately granted leave and went to Kyoto. A formal letter signed jointly by the rōjū (senior councilors) was issued instructing him to take care of his health without negligence <<A formal letter was also addressed to me, etc.>> <<Currently in my possession>> The eldest son is currently in the Itabashi Katsusaburō house of the gokoshō-gumi (page group). The second son Hachibei Morimasa, in Shōhō 4 (1647), 12th month <<Newly summoned and entered the Miyake Denzaemon group of kojūnin (minor attendants), serving from Keian 3 (1650), 12th month, 27th day>> was granted gokirimai (rice stipend) of 100 hyō. He later served as group leader and other positions, but upon his request was relieved of his duties and entered kobushin (minor construction corps). He died of illness at age 77 on the 25th day of the 8th month of Genroku 6 (1693) <<Buddhist name Ryōshō-in Hōyo Shōtetsu, buried at Jōdo-ji Temple on Hirakawayama in Hitotsugi, Akasaka, Musashi Province>> His descendants are in the current kobushin Itabashi Renzō house. The third son Nahei Shigemasa became the adopted son of Ōtawara Yamashiro-no-kami Takakiyo in Yashū (Shimotsuke Province)
