大田原ニ罷在候処故有て其家を
立退奥州会津へ罷下暫徘徊致
追而又江戸へ罷登生涯牢人ニて
何方へも仕官不仕氏も板橋を名

大田原に罷在していたところ、故あってその家を立ち退き、奥州会津へ下向してしばらく徘徊し、追って再び江戸へ上り、生涯浪人として何処へも仕官せず、氏も板橋を名乗っていたが、宝永六年三月六日八十二歳で病死しました《法名理月院宗運、葬所武州三田常秋山円徳寺》
その子丸右衛門成盛は園部五兵衛長貞の養子となり《今の健左衛門はその子孫にあり》、二男八兵衛重定は則ち私の家の初代でございます。三男清宅硌明は山田太郎右衛門惟一の養子となり《今の山田清蔵はその末家にあり》、四女《津礼》は御旗本大嶋雲八義房の妻となり、五男順斎清其は飯田小左衛門正清の養子となりました《今の飯田順佐はその末にあり》
一、元禄十年五月、御切符金三両二人扶持を下し置かれ、大工棟梁に召し抱えられた事

While residing in Ōtawara, due to certain circumstances he left that house and went down to Ōshū Aizu where he wandered for a while, then later went up to Edo again. He spent his entire life as a rōnin (masterless samurai), never serving any lord, and continued to use the surname Itabashi. He died of illness at age 82 on the 6th day of the 3rd month of Hōei 6 (1709) <<Buddhist name Rigetsu-in Sōun, buried at Entoku-ji Temple on Jōshūzan in Mita, Musashi Province>>
His son Maruemon Narimori became the adopted son of Sonobe Gohei Nagatada <<The current Kensaemon is among his descendants>>. The second son Hachibei Shigesada is the first generation of my house. The third son Seitaku Rakumyō became the adopted son of Yamada Tarōemon Koreichi <<The current Yamada Seizō is in that branch family>>. The fourth daughter <<Tsure>> became the wife of the hatamoto Ōshima Un'ya Yoshifusa. The fifth son Junsai Kiyosono became the adopted son of Iida Kosaemon Masakiyo <<The current Iida Junsa is in that lineage>>
1. In the 5th month of Genroku 10 (1697), he was granted a stipend certificate of 3 ryō gold and provisions for 2 people, and was employed as a master carpenter.
1. On the 19th day of the 4th month of Hōreki 12 (1762), he died of illness at age 79. Buddhist name Daiju-in Jōkan, buried at Entoku-ji Temple on Jōshūzan in Mita, Musashi Province.
