御参府迄御部屋御納戸附勤被

一同月時計蠟燭役兼務被

仰付候ニ付而ハ相及兼可申候間兼務
中被成御免候乍然当分引難候義
ニ候間御用透ニハ時計方へも出勤

一同年十二月本務兼務とも繁多
之処何も精出踏込相勤候ニ付格
別之訳を以御切符金弐分御役料

表様取り計らいの次第を毎度問い合わせたところ、細々とした儀まではなかなか行き及ばないとのことにより、当時より来たる御参府まで御部屋御納戸附勤を仰せ付けられ、御部屋御納戸役の指図を得て相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた事
一、同月、時計蠟燭役兼務を仰せ付け置かれていたところ、この度御部屋勤を仰せ付けられたことについては相及び兼ねるであろうことから、兼務を御免になった。しかしながら当分の間は引き難い義であることから、御用が空いた時には時計方へも出勤し、御省略筋はこれまで通り取り計らうよう仰せ付けられた事
一、同年十二月、本務兼務ともに繁多であったところ、何れも精励して踏み込んで相勤めたことにより、格別の訳をもって御切符金二分を御役料として下賜された事
一、同月、来春まで御部屋御納戸附勤を仰せ付け置かれていたところ、あれこれと心を付けて精励して相勤めたことにより、貞昭様より御内々に金三百疋を下賜された事

When inquiring repeatedly about the procedures for managing the outer quarters, it was reported that detailed matters could not be adequately handled, so from that time until the next attendance in Edo, he was appointed to serve as an attendant to the lord's private quarters and was ordered to serve under the direction of the private quarters officer.

In the same month, although he had been appointed to concurrently serve as timekeeper and candle officer, since this appointment to private quarters service would make it difficult to manage both duties, he was relieved of the concurrent appointment. However, since it would be difficult to completely withdraw for the time being, he was ordered to also report to the timekeeper's office when his main duties permitted and to continue managing cost-saving measures as before.
1. In the 12th month of the same year, while both his main and concurrent duties were numerous, he served diligently and thoroughly in all matters, so as a special consideration he was granted 2 bu of certificate gold as a role stipend.
