1. In the 8th month of Bunka 8, year of the Sheep (1811), he was appointed to guard duty during emergency situations.
1. In the 12th month of the same year, he was appointed as a hired member of the New Guard Unit for the New Year ceremonies of the following year.
1. In the 4th month of Bunka 9, year of the Monkey (1812), he was appointed as a hired scribe.
1. In the 7th month of Bunka 10, year of the Rooster (1813), while serving as a scribe, he was also appointed to concurrently serve as a hired member of the New Guard Unit.
Note: He served in this dual capacity repeatedly thereafter.
