差上申一札之事
一当秋宗門再御改之儀此節御用多御座候ニ付
今年之儀者私共人別相改申候様被 仰付奉畏
名主問屋町代組頭立合相改申候所春中御改
之通宗門幷人別少茂相違無御座候
一人別増減之儀ハ別紙帳面差上申候
右之通町中入念相改申候所疑鋪義少茂無御座候
万一如何敷儀御座候由被及 御聞候ハゝ何分之
越度ニ茂可被 仰付候為後日証文差上申候
処仍而如件

差し上げ申す一札の事
一、当秋の宗門再御改めの儀について、この節御用が多くございますので、今年の儀については私共で人別を相改め申すよう仰せ付けられ、恐れ入って承りました。名主・問屋・町代・組頭立ち合いのもと相改め申したところ、春中の御改めの通り、宗門並びに人別について少しも相違ございません。
一、人別増減の儀については別紙帳面を差し上げ申します。
右の通り町中入念に相改め申したところ、疑わしい義は少しもございません。万一何か宜しくない儀がございまして御聞きに及びましたならば、何分の越度にでも仰せ付けられるべく候。後日のため証文を差し上げ申すところ、以上の通りです。

Document of Submission
Regarding the matter of the autumn re-inspection of religious sects: As there are many official duties at this time, we have been ordered to conduct the population census ourselves this year, which we humbly accept. Under the supervision of the village headman, wholesale merchants, town representatives, and group leaders, we have conducted the inspection and found that the religious affiliations and population records are exactly as they were during the spring inspection, with no discrepancies whatsoever.
Regarding increases and decreases in population: We submit a separate ledger for these matters.
Having carefully inspected the entire town as described above, we found nothing suspicious. Should anything improper come to your attention, we are prepared to accept whatever punishment you deem appropriate. We submit this certificate for future reference.
