一、寛政八辰年七月、親御（父親）の擬作（知行）の内から二分、および一人扶持を減じられ、七両二分・三人扶持を与えられた。外様組付に召し出されたが、諸勤（各種の職務）は仰せ付けられないので、文武の芸を修行すべしとのことであった。これによって小普請料を差し出すよう仰せ出され、春日仁左衛門組へ入れ置かれた。

Item: In the 7th month of Kansei 8, the Year of the Dragon, [Naomichi's] stipend was reduced by 2 bu and 1 hitori-fuchi from within his father's allotment (擬作), and he was granted 7 ryō 2 bu and 3 hitori-fuchi. He was called into service in the Tozama-gumi (outer retainer group), but since no specific duties (諸勤) were assigned, he was instructed to devote himself to training in both literary and martial arts. Accordingly, he was ordered to submit the kozampkin-ryō (small fief fee), and was placed in the unit of Kasuga Ninzaemon.
