現代語訳
一、同（明和）五子年正月、名を新治と改名仕りたき旨、願いの通り任ぜられ候事。
一、同年三月、御供として勤番のため江戸へ罷り登り、翌丑年、御供にて罷り下り候節、御道中御供番仮役を仰せ付けられ、相勤め候事。
一、同七寅年三月、御参勤の節、御膳番仮役并びに御供助役を仰せ付けられ、両務を相勤め候。
但し、此の後、御上下の節、度々仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同八卯年九月、御供勤番として罷り登り、翌辰年十月、御供にて罷り下り候事。
一、安永二巳年九月、御膳番見習を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同年五月、御膳番定仮役を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同三午年三月、御供勤番として罷り登り、翌未年五月、御供にて罷り下り候事。

英語訳
1. In the 1st month of the same [Meiwa] 5th year, the Year of the Rat, his request to change his given name to Shinji was granted.
2. In the 3rd month of the same year, he traveled up to Edo to serve as an attendant on duty (*kinban*), and upon returning the following year, the Year of the Ox, while traveling in the lord's retinue, he was appointed to the provisional role of road-escort attendant (*odōchū okyōban kari-yaku*) and duly performed this duty.
3. In the 3rd month of the same 7th year, the Year of the Tiger, during the lord's alternate-attendance procession (*gosankin*), he was appointed to both the provisional role of meal attendant (*ozenban kari-yaku*) and the supplementary role of escort attendant (*osupport-yaku*), and he performed both duties.
Note: After this, he was appointed to these duties on repeated occasions when the lord traveled up or down to Edo.
4. In the 9th month of the same 8th year, the Year of the Rabbit, he traveled up to Edo as a duty attendant in the lord's retinue, and returned with the lord's retinue in the 10th month of the following year, the Year of the Dragon.
5. In the 9th month of Anei 2, the Year of the Snake, he was appointed as a trainee meal attendant (*ozenban minarai*).
6. In the 5th month of the same year, he was appointed to the provisional established role of meal attendant (*ozenban jō kari-yaku*).
7. In the 3rd month of the same 3rd year, the Year of the Horse, he traveled up to Edo as a duty attendant in the lord's retinue, and returned with the lord's retinue in the 5th month of the following year, the Year of the Sheep.
