Note: In recognition of his service as gunnery instructor (*jūjutsu shihan*), he was relieved of guard duty (*go-ban*) and the non-post attendance (*mu-yaku chakutō*) obligations.
- On the twenty-second day of the tenth month of Bunsei 7 (Year of the Monkey, 1824), he died of illness at the age of fifty-six. His posthumous Buddhist name (*hōmyō*) was Chūryōin Yūgi Nisshin Koji. His place of burial is the same as stated above.
