但し、天和元年(酉年)四月まで八年間、隔年に怠りなく勤めたが、勤番の往来や拝領物等は不詳である。 一、天和元年(酉年)六月、有難き御意のうえ、手寄(てより)を申したことにより、御役を御免じ置かれ、そのうえ御褒美として銀子五枚を下し置かれ、篠田七郎兵衛組に仰せ付けられた。 一、同三年(亥年)四月、組付を仰せ付けられた。以来、病気のため御番を勤めることが相成らなくなったことにつき、御番代の侘びを申し上げたところ、願いの通り、忰(せがれ)太郎兵衛が御番代を仰せ付けられた。 一、元禄三年(午年)二月六日、七十九歳にして病死。法名は即幼良空居士。葬所は詳らかにはわからないが雲山善龍寺。 清右衛門為次   別系(別の系統を参照)  母は同上 一、明暦二年(酉年)六月、十五石三人扶持を下し置かれ、御右筆に召し出された。 女(むすめ)      高渕武右衛門次安の妻  母は樋口氏の女(むすめ) 作左衛門光治 《割書:初名は太郎兵衛 慶安元年(子年)誕生》  母は同上  妻は白土勘助の某女(なにがしの娘)

Note: He served without negligence every other year for eight years until the fourth month of Tenna 1st year [Year of the Rooster, 1681]; however, details regarding the comings and goings for duty rotation and items received as gifts are unknown. One entry: In the sixth month of Tenna 1st year [Year of the Rooster, 1681], having received a gracious directive (go-i) and having submitted a request citing family circumstances (teyori), he was relieved of his post; moreover, as a reward, he was granted five pieces of silver (ginshi) and was appointed to Shinoda Shichibei's unit. One entry: In the fourth month of the same [Tenna] 3rd year [Year of the Boar, 1683], he was appointed to a unit (kumitsuke). Thereafter, as he became unable to perform guard duty (o-ban) due to illness, he petitioned for a substitute guard (banshiro); his request was granted, and his son Taro-bei was appointed as substitute guard (banshiro) in his place. One entry: On the sixth day of the second month of Genroku 3rd year [Year of the Horse, 1690], he died of illness at the age of seventy-nine. His posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō) was Sokuyō Ryōkū Koji. His burial place is not precisely known, but [it is recorded as] Unzan Zenryūji [temple].
