一、天和三年（亥年）四月、親の願いの通り御番代を仰せ付けられ、篠田七郎兵衛組にて御城御番を相勤めた。
一、貞享元年（子年）十二月、頭（かしら）の篠田七郎兵衛が病死したことにつき、跡の御役として篠田半左衛門組に罷り成った。
一、元禄元年（辰年）三月、江戸へ勤番のため罷り登り、同年六月、御入部の御供をして罷り下った。
一、同三年（午年）五月、跡式百五十石を相違なく下し置かれた。
一、同五年（申年）四月、御代官役を仰せ付けられた。
一、同六年（酉年）三月、御城御番を怠りなく勤めた段を仰せ出された。

One entry: In the fourth month of Tenna 3rd year [Year of the Boar, 1683], in accordance with his father's petition, he was appointed as substitute guard (ban-dairi), and performed castle guard duty (o-shiro o-ban) in Shinoda Shichibei's unit.
One entry: In the twelfth month of Jōkyō 1st year [Year of the Rat, 1684], following the death by illness of his unit commander (kashira) Shinoda Shichibei, he was transferred to Shinoda Hanzaemon's unit to succeed in the same role.
One entry: In the third month of Genroku 1st year [Year of the Dragon, 1688], he traveled up to Edo for duty rotation (kinban); in the sixth month of the same year, he served in the escort for the lord's entry into the domain (go-nyūbu no o-tomo) and returned home.
