一、寛政九巳年（1797）四月、父親が不都合な行為をしたことにより、（父の）擬作（家禄）が召し上げられたが、御哀憐をもって五人扶持を下し置かれ、組外の士として召し出された。
一、同十一未年（1799）九月、追鳥狩に出陣した。
一、同十二申年（1800）六月、常右衛門と改名することを願い出て、許可された。
一、享和三亥年（1803）八月、追鳥狩に出陣した。
一、同年九月、当追鳥狩において、両度の狩ともに各隊が連携し、都合よく運んだのは、出精（励んだ）致したためであるとお考えになられ、仲間一同がご称賛を賜った。
一、文化四卯年（1807）三月、笹原清六の手元にて馬術取締役を仰せ付けられ、勤務した。
一、同五辰年（1808）閏六月、武芸に出精し勤める者として、通常の会の日以外に夕会にも出席し、奇特であるとお思いになられ、ご褒美として銀子一枚を下し置かれた。

Item: In the fourth month of Kansei 9 (1797, Year of the Snake), because his father had committed an improper act, the father's stipend (gisaku) was confiscated; however, out of compassionate consideration, he was granted five persons' worth of stipend (gonin-fuchi) and was summoned into service as an outside-rank retainer (kumigai no shi).
Item: In the ninth month of the same eleventh year (1799, Year of the Sheep), he participated in the Otorishigari (a domain-wide military hunting exercise).
Item: In the sixth month of the same twelfth year (1800, Year of the Monkey), his request to change his name to Tsuneemon was granted.
Item: In the eighth month of Kyōwa 3 (1803, Year of the Boar), he participated in the Otorishigari.
