一、同八未年（1811）八月、追鳥狩に罷り出た。
一、同九申年（1812）十二月、御用所役人を仰せ付けられ、御近習二ノ寄合席に成し下され、これまでの御扶持方を四石二人扶持に成し下され、外に五石の御役料を下し置かれた。
一、同十酉年（1813）正月、作左衛門と改名することを願い出て許可された。
一、同十一戌年（1814）四月、先祖清右衛門義が慶長年中（1596〜1615）の大坂落城の節、道義様の御供をして戦死を遂げた。当年がその二百回忌に当たるにつき、建福寺にて仏事を御執行成し下される旨、仰せ出された。
一、同十三子年（1816）正月、刑書取調べの義につき、数年にわたり精力を尽くし、詳しく吟味を重ね、大部の書を宜しく出来上げたことにつき、格別の訳をもって御役料のうち三石の御加増に御直し下し置かれた。
一、同年八月、持席にて町蔵奉行を仰せ付けられた。
一、同十四丑年（1817）九月、御留守備甲士勤めを仰せ付けられた。

Item: In the eighth month of the same eighth year (1811, Year of the Sheep), he participated in the oidorigan (a formal falconry hunt).
Item: In the twelfth month of the same ninth year (1812, Year of the Monkey), he was appointed as an official of the御用所 (administrative office), was granted the rank of Gokinju Ni-no-yoriai (Second-class Attendant Companion Seat), his previous stipend was changed to four koku plus two persons' fuchi, and additionally five koku in role stipend (yakuryō) was granted to him.
Item: In the first month of the same tenth year (1813, Year of the Rooster), his request to change his name to Sakuzaemon was approved.
Item: In the fourth month of the same eleventh year (1814, Year of the Dog), it was proclaimed that, since this year marks the two-hundredth memorial anniversary of the ancestor Seizaemon Yoshikazu, who accompanied Lord Dōgi and died in battle during the Fall of Osaka in the Keichō era (1596–1615), a Buddhist memorial service would be held at Kenfuku-ji temple in his honor.
Item: In the first month of the same thirteenth year (1816, Year of the Rat), because he had devoted his energies over many years to the investigation and compilation of criminal records (keisho), conducted thorough inquiries, and successfully completed a substantial volume of documents, he was specially granted an increase of three koku from within his role stipend.
Item: In the eighth month of the same year, while retaining his current seat rank (mochiseki), he was appointed as Machikura-bugyō (Town Storehouse Magistrate).
