現代語訳
山川徳左衛門運成の女（むすめ）。天明元丑年（1781）九月十六日誕生。
一、寛政五丑年（1793）四月 御用所書物当座御雇を仰せ付けられた。
一、同十一未年（1799）十二月 御用所役人へ臨時番入りし、相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同十二申年（1800）十二月 親（父）の御擬作のうち一石五斗を減じられ、六石五斗二人扶持を下し置かれ、御通与力に召し出された。
ただし、これまでの通り御用所書物当座御雇として相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。
一、享和元酉年（1801）八月 御用所役人へ臨時番入りし、本役を勤めるよう仰せ付けられ、十一月中まで相勤めた。
一、同二戌年（1802）三月 御用所役人へ臨時番入りし、本役を勤めるよう仰せ付けられ、九月中まで相勤めた。
一、同三亥年（1803）二月 御用所御雇を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年三月 席は御用所御雇、荒木藤七の次、御用部屋御雇、騎西信蔵の上に置かれ（以下次頁へ続く）
英語訳
Daughter of Yamakawa Tokuzaemon Kazunari. Born on the sixteenth day of the ninth month of Tenmei 1st year, Year of the Ox (1781).
1. In Kansei 5th year, Year of the Ox (1793), fourth month: He was appointed as a temporary hired scribe (kakimono tōza o-yatoi) at the Office of Affairs (go-yōsho).
2. In the same 11th year, Year of the Sheep (1799), twelfth month: He was ordered to enter temporary rotation duty (kari-ban'iri) among the staff of the Office of Affairs, and to perform his duties accordingly.
3. In the same 12th year, Year of the Monkey (1800), twelfth month: One koku five to was deducted from his father's honorary stipend allocation (go-gisaku), and he was granted six koku five to and a stipend for two persons (futari-fuchi), and was summoned as a go-tsūyoriki [a mounted attendant/liaison officer].
Note: He was also ordered to continue serving as a temporary hired scribe at the Office of Affairs as before.
4. In Kyōwa 1st year, Year of the Rooster (1801), eighth month: He was ordered to enter temporary rotation duty among the staff of the Office of Affairs and to perform full regular duties (hon-yaku), which he carried out through the eleventh month.
5. In the same 2nd year, Year of the Dog (1802), third month: He was ordered to enter temporary rotation duty among the staff of the Office of Affairs and to perform full regular duties, which he carried out through the ninth month.
6. In the same 3rd year, Year of the Boar (1803), second month: He was appointed as a hired employee at the Office of Affairs (go-yōsho o-yatoi).
7. In the same year, third month: His seat ranking was placed as a hired employee of the Office of Affairs, below Araki Tōshichi and above Kisai Shinzō among the hired employees of the Council Chamber (go-yōbeya o-yatoi)— (continues on next page)
