一同月此度
貞昭様御用《見せ消ち：取｜所》役人罷下り壱人勤之
義ニ候間御在国中右仮役被 仰付候事
一同年十一月
御出生様御役御用精出相勤候ニ付
御内々銀五両被下置候事
一文化二丑年十二月去々年中奉行
所被相止一纏ニ相成候砌ゟ別而御用向繁
多之義ニ候処精出相勤候ニ付為御褒美
金五百疋被下置候事
一同三寅年七月御雇精出本役勤を
も引通相勤候ニ付御用所役人被 仰
付御役料弐石五斗被下置候事

仰せ付けられた。
一、同月 この度、貞昭様御用の役人が（江戸より）罷り下られ、一人勤めの義につき、御在国中、右の仮役を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十一月 御出生様御役において、御用に精を出し相勤めたことにつき、御内々をもって銀五両を下し置かれた。
一、文化二丑年（1805）十二月 去々年中（一昨年）に奉行所が廃止されて一纏めとなった節より、格別に御用向きが繁多であるところ、精を出し相勤めたことにつき、御褒美として金五百疋を下し置かれた。
一、同三寅年（1806）七月 御雇として精を出し、本役の勤めをも引き通し相勤めたことにつき、御用所役人に仰せ付けられ、御役料弐石五斗を下し置かれた。
一、同年十一月 去る秋中より当春中まで、御用差し湊い（差し迫り）、昼夜取り込んでいたところ、引き通し精を出し相勤めたことにつき、御褒美として金弐分を下し置かれた。
一、同五辰年（1808）閏六月 中ケ間（なかのま）人少なくして、御用取り込みの上、密事ども考課吟味につきては、自然と御用繁多の（以下次頁へ続く）

1. In the same month: On this occasion, an official serving under Lord Sadaaki descended [from Edo] to the domain, and as this was a single-person duty, he was appointed to the said temporary post for the duration of Lord Sadaaki's residence in the domain.
2. In the same year, eleventh month: For having diligently performed his duties in service related to the Lord's birth, he was privately (informally) awarded five ryō in silver.
3. In Bunka 2nd year, Year of the Ox (1805), twelfth month: Since the year before last, when the magistrate's office (bugyōsho) had been abolished and consolidated, affairs had become exceptionally numerous; in recognition of his diligent service throughout this period, he was awarded five hundred hiki in gold as a mark of commendation.
4. In the same 3rd year, Year of the Tiger (1806), seventh month: Having diligently and continuously performed both his hired duties and full regular duties without interruption, he was appointed as a full staff member (yakusha) of the Office of Affairs (go-yōsho), and was granted an official stipend allowance (o-yakunryō) of two koku five to.
5. In the same year, eleventh month: From the previous autumn through the current spring, official business had been pressing and he had been engaged day and night without respite; in recognition of his continuous and diligent service throughout this period, he was awarded two bu in gold as a mark of commendation.
6. In the same 5th year, Year of the Dragon (1808), intercalary sixth month: With few staff in the middle room (naka-no-ma), and with official business being pressing, and further with the examination and investigation of confidential matters, official duties naturally became exceedingly numerous— (continues on next page)
