時のようなものであって、何の役に立つだろうか」とおっしゃったので、その時聖も仕方なく、お髪を剃った。その上、髻（もとどり）は既に都で切って登られていたので、聖もこの上は拒否することもできず、戒を授け、御衣をお着せ申し上げた。
