Regarding these two men:
1. On the first day of the fourth month, departed from Takato, stayed overnight at
Yamabuki Shinden, on the following second day stayed at Namiiai, on the third day
stayed at Rentan in Sanshū, on the fourth day arrived at Ashisuke in Sanshū around 4:30

arrived earlier, and moreover that day they traveled about one and a half ri and lodged
there, it is said
1. These two men stopped by the place of one called
Shioya Yahēji in Ashisuke town, making inquiries from Takato in Shinshū
to the officials of the Survey Office,
and furthermore regarding proper etiquette for lodging arrangements and various other matters
