現代語訳
北方（吉原のこと）では釈迦の優れたことを聞き伝え、今日この里の年番につかれた十一面観音菩薩が禿を引き連れ、遣手も角を隠して兜率天の大門まで迎えに来る。

そもそもこの浄土へは黄金の肌でなくては来ることができず、道のりも遠いようであるが、弘誓の直きに乗る時は、ちょっとの間のうちに到着することは疑いなし。

In the northern quarter (referring to Yoshiwara), they have heard tales of Shaka's virtuous deeds, and today the Eleven-Faced Kannon Bodhisattva, who serves as this pleasure quarter's annual supervisor, comes with kamuro attendants to greet him at the great gate of Tushita Heaven, while even the yarite hides her horns.

Generally speaking, one cannot enter this pure land without golden skin, and though the journey seems long, when one rides upon the directness of the bodhisattva's great vow, there is no doubt that arrival happens in just a moment.
