乍恐以口上書奉願上候御事
一 欠落者三人 京屋万吉当亥年廿二歳
同人母 当亥年五十三歳
同人妹 当亥年廿一歳
右之者共私親類ニ御座候処去九月母妹
召連風と罷出候ニ付親類共以最寄所々
相尋候得共行衛相知れ不申候平生実体
成者ニは御座候得共先々ニ而如何様成儀仕出シ
可申も難計奉存候依之欠落御帳面

These persons are my relatives, but last September the mother took the younger sister and they departed casually. We relatives searched the nearby areas, but their whereabouts remain unknown. Although they were normally honest people, we cannot predict what kind of trouble they might cause in the future. Therefore, we request that they be recorded in the register of absconders.
