上記の願書は三月に提出しておいたところ、六月四日に御聞き届けの御沙汰を頂戴いたしましたので、新町町代伝右衛門を呼んで申し渡しました。
恐れながら書付をもってお願い申し上げます
一、私は長年にわたり紺屋の職業をしておりましたが、今年から紺屋の職業をやめたいと思っております。つきましては、お願い申し上げます。
右の趣旨について、御慈悲をもってお願いした通りにお取り計らいいただけましたら、ありがたい幸せに存じます。以上
