恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げます
私は今まで左官の仕事をしておりましたが、今年から
普請方で年に三日ずつ御役の勤務をし、職分を専念して勤め
たいと存じます。よってお願い申し上げます。
この趣旨について、御慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りお
取り計らいいただけましたなら、ありがたき幸せに存じます。以上

I have been working as a plasterer until now, but from this year
I would like to serve in the construction department for three days per year and devote myself
entirely to this official duty. Therefore, I humbly make this request.
