現代語訳

足下において数々拝戴したように、また具志州並びに相従う者たちは皆恩賜を浴した。その御礼として重ねて使者兼城を薩州に遣わし謝意を奉じた趣を、薩摩守が言上したところ台聴に達し、また献上した進物は目録の如く捧げ、頗る喜色を動かされ、遠意を労することなかれ。その他の事は薩摩守に附託するものである。恐々不宣

英語訳

As you have reverently received numerous [gifts], Gushishū and his accompanying retainers have all bathed in bestowed favors. As expression of gratitude for this, we again dispatched the envoy Kaneshiro to Satsuma Province to convey our thanks, and when the Lord of Satsuma reported this matter, it reached His Lordship's ears. Moreover, the tribute gifts presented according to the catalog moved His Lordship to great joy—do not trouble yourself with distant concerns. Other matters are entrusted to the Lord of Satsuma. With fear and reverence, I leave this unsaid.
