　申候者添状可仕由に而両通次太夫手前
　に證文御座候尤林丹波守殿加勢之段書
　状御座候其外諸方ゟ之状茂御坐候紀州
　様御内田屋五郎左衛門は小刀た可ひ尓抜か
　者せ證文状共に互に為取替候落城已後山
　本佐右衛門市川甚右衛門抔与右衛門引合近
　付に罷成候牧野伝蔵様石谷十蔵様板
　蔵主水様只今に至り御念頭に御座候
原田伊予覚書曰二月廿八日兵庫頭近所
　に伊予罷在万事指引仕候事

並河氏覚書曰廿八日鉄炮頭並河太左衛
　門居申候先手本丸塀際江島田十郎左衛門柳
　本五郎左衛門茂参候処太田八郎右衛門組之持
　筒を本丸之塀に橋子を懸けて上け候是
　者何事に而候与何茂申候得者原田伊予参
　候与先手衆徒か連可被申候間入替候而休
　免可申与申上候得者其通りに申付候様尓と御
　意故如此に候与申候太左衛門を初め番人も口
　を揃以之外叱り候間伊予も兎角之と申
　候十縦御意に而候共先手之我々を越し旗本

現代語訳

申し候者が「添状をいたしましょう」ということで、両通とも次太夫の手元に証文がございます。もっとも林丹波守殿の加勢の段についても書状がございます。その外、諸方からの状もございます。紀州様の御内、田屋五郎左衛門は小刀を抜かずに証文状を互いに取り替えました。落城已後、山本佐右衛門、市川甚右衛門などと与右衛門が引き合わせの近付きとなりました。牧野伝蔵様、石谷十蔵様、板倉主水様は今に至るまで御念頭にございます。

原田伊予覚書に曰く、二月二十八日、兵庫頭の近所に伊予が罷り在り、万事指引仕った事。

並河氏覚書に曰く、二十八日、鉄砲頭並河太左衛門が居申したところ、先手が本丸塀際へ島田十郎左衛門、柳本五郎左衛門も参ったところ、太田八郎右衛門組の持筒を本丸の塀に橋子を懸けて上げました。「これは何事でございますか」と皆が申しましたところ、「原田伊予が参るので先手衆は引き下がるべきですから、入れ替わって休息なさってください」と申し上げましたところ、「その通りに申し付けるように」との御意であるからこのようにいたしますと申しました。太左衛門をはじめ番人も口を揃えて非常に叱りましたので、伊予も「とにかく」と申します。「たとえ御意であっても、先手の我々を越して旗本が」

Taya Gorozaemon from Kishū-sama's household exchanged certificate letters with each other without drawing their short swords. After the fall of the castle, Yamamoto Saemon, Ichikawa Jinemon and others became intermediaries for Yoemon's meetings. The memorandum of Harada Iyo states: On the 28th day of the 2nd month, Iyo was present near Hyōgo-no-kami and handled all matters.

The memorandum of the Namikawa clan states: On the 28th day, when firearms commander Namikawa Tazaemon was present, the vanguard came to the vicinity of the main castle wall, and Shimada Jūrozaemon and Yanagimoto Gorozaemon also came. Ōta Hachirōemon's unit set up ladder supports against the main castle wall and climbed up with their firearms. When everyone asked "What is this about?", someone replied "Since Harada Iyo is coming, the vanguard troops should withdraw, so please take turns and rest."
