中山の山岳・寺院及び遊覧した場所は、ただ首里・那覇の数か所のみで、以下に略記するとおりである。

【臨海寺】北砲台長堤の中に在る。国王の祈報の場所となっている。門は東向き。仏堂は南に面し、三楹で東に面している。板閣一間。石垣が四周を囲む。潮が牆下に至る。僧の名は盛満。寺の旧名は定海。前使汪楫の臨海寺隷書の匾額がある。鐘があり、天順三年に鋳造された。

【奥山】【竜渡寺】砲台の西、水中の小土山に在る。潮が至れば数十里に瀰漫し、潮が退けば平沙浅水で、舟楫に適さない。山はもとは蛇窟であった。僧心海が初めてこれを開拓した。蛇は相率いて水を渡って避け去った。堤を築いて潮を截ち、泉を引いて松を種えた。屋五六楹を構え、前方の沼中に小亭二所を設けた。遍地に仏桑・鳳尾蕉等を植えている。頗る憩玩するに足る。山の東に小尖阜があり、【鶴頭山】と名づける。潮が板敷・宇平等の湖に至ると、漁舟夕照となり、那覇近所第一の勝処となる。

【辻山】臨海寺の西に在り、港と相対して望む。辻の字は一字両音で、国人は「ツシ」山と読む。汪楫の記録では誤って「青芝山」としている。小石阜が海に沿い、下は皆塋墓である。

【波上】辻山の東北に在る。一名石筍崖。山下の海中に石芝が生じている。沿海に浮石が多く、嵌空玲瓏で白色である。山頭に石垣が四周を囲む。垣後から海を望むことができる。垣内に板閣が離立すること三楹。扃鑰して僧はいない。下に平堂三楹がある。波上の東北沿海の中に、山があり【雪崎】と名づける。下に洞の雪崎がある。東北に小

The mountains, temples, and places visited in Chuzan were only several locations in Shuri and Naha, briefly recorded as follows:

[Rinkai Temple] Located within the north battery's long embankment. It serves as a place for the king's prayers and offerings. The gate faces east. The Buddha hall faces south, with three bays facing east. There is a one-bay wooden pavilion. Stone walls surround it on all sides. The tide reaches the base of the walls. The monk's name is Seiman. The temple's former name was Teikai. There is a plaque with calligraphy reading "Rinkai Temple" by the previous envoy Wang Ji. There is a bell cast in the third year of Tianshun.

[Okuyama] [Ryuto Temple] Located on a small earthen hill in the water west of the battery. When the tide comes in, it spreads for dozens of ri; when the tide recedes, it becomes flat sand and shallow water, unsuitable for boats. The mountain was originally a snake den. The monk Shinkai first developed it. The snakes collectively crossed the water and departed. He built an embankment to block the tide, drew spring water, and planted pines. He constructed five to six bay buildings and built two small pavilions in the pond in front. Hibiscus, phoenix tail plants, and other vegetation are planted throughout. It is quite suitable for rest and enjoyment. To the east of the mountain is a small pointed hill called [Tsurugashira Mountain]. When the tide reaches the lakes of Itashiki and Uhira, with fishing boats in the evening light, it becomes the foremost scenic spot near Naha.

[Tsuji Mountain] Located west of Rinkai Temple, facing the harbor. The character "tsuji" has two pronunciations for one character. The local people read it as "Tushi Mountain." Wang Ji's record mistakenly records it as "Seishi Mountain." The small rocky hill runs along the sea, with tombs below.

[Naminoue] Located northeast of Tsuji Mountain. Also called Stone Bamboo Shoot Cliff. Stone moss grows in the sea below the mountain. Along the coast there are many pumice stones, with cavities, exquisite and white in color. Stone walls surround the mountaintop on all sides. From behind the walls one can view the sea. Within the walls, wooden pavilions stand separately in three bays. It is locked and has no monks. Below there is a flat hall of three bays. In the coastal area northeast of Naminoue, there is a mountain called [Yukizaki]. Below there is a cave called Yukizaki. To the northeast there is a small
