〽同年加藤大和守事病気とは乍申度々御用日ニ不参仕其上御用之儀を
与力を以取計ひ且又先規ゟ無之儀同役へも不申請与力方へ町人ゟ
現代語訳
○同年 森主殿の義、森伯耆守の養子となることを願い出たが、段々と不調法な仕方により、森美作守へ御預けを仰せ付けられた。かつまた伯耆守が不埒な養子願いをしたのを不届きに思し召され、これにより名跡を仰せ付けられなかった。右の趣を美作守へ申し聞かせるよう仰せ渡された。
○同年 伊達美作守殿が土器町を通られた節、小笠原長門守殿組の岡八郎兵衛殿が行き懸かり、先供の徒の者が八郎兵衛を突き除けた。八郎兵衛殿が抜刀されたところを大勢で立ち懸かり、刀を奪い取って無理に通り申した。八郎兵衛が後より追いかけて参ったが、門を打ち入れなかった。八郎兵衛は番に罷り出ていたため、その段を御城へ申し遣わした。御城より組頭、大御目付、御目付衆が参り、八郎兵衛を先ず屋敷へ戻し申した。その後御吟味があり、美作守殿は逼塞を仰せ付けられ、八郎兵衛殿は理不尽に供割りの儀を不調法にしたことにより逼塞となった。その後美作守殿は本家より申し達しがあり引き込まれた由。

○Same year Regarding Mori Tonomo's matter, although he had requested to become the adopted son of Mori Hōki-no-kami, due to his increasingly improper conduct, he was placed under the custody of Mori Mimasaka-no-kami. Furthermore, Hōki-no-kami's improper adoption request was deemed inexcusable, and therefore he was not granted succession to the family name. It was ordered that this decision be communicated to Mimasaka-no-kami.
○Same year When Lord Date Mimasaka-no-kami was passing through Doki-chō, he encountered Lord Oka Hachirōbei from Lord Ogasawara Nagato-no-kami's unit, and the foot soldiers in the advance guard pushed Hachirōbei aside. When Hachirōbei drew his sword, a large group rushed him, seized his sword, and forced their way through. Hachirōbei pursued from behind but was not admitted through the gate. Since Hachirōbei was on duty, this matter was reported to the castle. From the castle, unit commanders, senior inspectors, and inspectors came and first had Hachirōbei return to his residence. Later there was an investigation, and Lord Mimasaka-no-kami was ordered into house confinement.
