右の通り、先達てお届け申し上げた通り、在所の地震にて領分の町在・田畑・苗代の損害、山崩れ・用水・堰・道・橋の損害、並びに城中侍屋敷・町在の潰れ家・死人、右の通りでございます。かつ城内破損所多くございます。別紙を以てお届け申し上げます。田畑損毛高の儀は取り調べ候上、追って申し上げます。

As stated above, as previously reported, due to earthquakes in our territory, there has been damage to towns, villages, rice fields, and seedbeds in our domain, damage to landslides, irrigation channels, dikes, roads, and bridges, as well as collapsed houses and deaths in castle samurai residences and town villages, as described above. Moreover, there are many damaged locations within the castle. We report this in a separate document. Regarding the matter of crop damage assessments for rice fields, we will report this separately after investigation.

Regarding this earthquake, the grandfather Sōzō of the current Tatara(?) Gozō was a person who came as an adopted son from Takada, and since this earthquake occurred in his first year [there], he remembered it as terrifyingly frightful, as we have heard him tell many times. One: Decorative structural elements above the wooden wall construction shall not be used
The above applies to temple halls, guest halls, abbots' quarters, temple kitchens, and anything else - the beam span shall not be built wider than these regulations. If there are reasons to build wider, one must inquire at the Temple and Shrine Magistrate's office and follow their instructions.
