一道筋江戸ゟ左之方往来小荷駄等片寄通候間騎馬之者

一品川札之辻ゟ鎌倉迄半道ニ一ヶ所宛御馬口洗水差置人足
付置候事
一道筋橋道共ニ悪敷場所ニ其所〻ニ竹赤紙付置候間其所は地道ニ

一横道有之処縁張いたし置所之者出し置候事
附馬之者道筋相尋候はゝ挨拶いたし候事

遠慮を仰せ付けられ候者 息子 押し込めその身のみ
右の通り心得るべし。この外の親類共より差し出すに及ばず。もっとも養子などに相成り続き遠く候か、または続き無く候共、実際書面の通りの続きこれ有り候はば、伺い書差し出すべき事

The above should be understood accordingly. It is not necessary for other relatives to submit [petitions]. Of course, if one has become an adopted son and the connection is distant, or even if there is no connection, but there is actually a relationship as described in the document, then a petition should be submitted.
