現代語訳

人数指（にんずさし）を以って御供を仰せ付けられたこと

一　同十一巳年四月、御仕立所勤を仰せ付けられ、翌午年四月まで相勤めたこと

一　同十二午年八月、吟味所壱ヶ年立合を仰せ付けられ、翌未年八月まで相勤めたこと

一　同年十二月、七郎右衛門と改名仕りたき旨を伺い願ったこと

一　同十三未年九月、越後新潟御肴調達の儀立合を仰せ付けられ、同十月に罷り帰った
　　ただし御褒美として金弐百疋を下し置かれたこと

一　同年十一月、白河筋より仙道まで所々先納立合を仰せ付けられ罷り越し、同十二月に罷り帰ったこと

一　明和元申年正月、精出して相勤めたことにより、只今までの御役料弐石に御加増を御直しに下し置かれたこと

一　同年二月、御徒組頭を仰せ付けられ、五石壱人扶持の御役料を下し置かれたこと

一　同年十月、勤番のため江戸へ罷り登り、翌酉年三月

he was appointed to accompany [his lord] as a retainer designate.

• In the fourth month of the same eleventh snake year, he was appointed to serve at the tailoring office, serving until the fourth month of the following horse year.

• In the eighth month of the same twelfth horse year, he was appointed as supervisor of the investigation office for one year, serving until the eighth month of the following sheep year.

• In the twelfth month of the same year, he petitioned to change his name to Shichiroemon.

• In the ninth month of the same thirteenth sheep year, he was appointed as supervisor for procuring fresh fish from Niigata in Echigo Province, returning in the tenth month of the same year.
　However, as a reward, he was granted 200 hiki of gold.

• In the eleventh month of the same year, he was appointed as supervisor for advance tax collection from various places from the Shirakawa route to Sendo, departing and returning in the twelfth month of the same year.

• In the first month of Meiwa 1 (monkey year), due to his diligent service, his current official salary was increased by 2 koku as a direct grant.

• In the second month of the same year, he was appointed as ashigaru group leader (o-kachi gumigashira), granted an official salary of 5 koku and one person's stipend.

• In the tenth month of the same year, he went up to Edo for guard duty, and in the third month of the following rooster year
