• In the second month of the same seventh dog year, his request was granted and he was relieved of his duties, with his quasi-samurai status being revoked.
• On the twenty-fourth day of the second month of the same eighth boar year, he died of illness at the age of seventy-two. His Buddhist name was Tenjuin Kanri Nichikaku Jōshi, and he was buried at Mount Ōkubo.

• In the seventh month of Meiwa 8 (rabbit year), he was appointed as a regular employee at the administrative office.
• In the twelfth month of the same year, due to his diligent service, he was granted an annual allowance of two ryō for formal court dress (hakama) from that year forward.
• In the twelfth month of Anei 2 (snake year), he was granted the regular quasi-samurai status of ten koku with support for two people, of which three koku served as his role stipend when he was promoted to administrative officer.
• In the third month of the same third horse year, he went up [to Edo] for guard duty as an attendant, returning in the ninth month of the same year.
