現代語訳
【右丁】
「こちらの人、お手柄でございます」
「ご勘気やご赦免の種となるべきこの一品、大願成就ありがたやなあ」と、大山参りのように御太刀をいただく。
【左丁 上段】
無駄之助は武左衛門家の後を落ち延びようと土手において追いつき、組んづほぐれつ争ったが、難なく髭撫での御太刀を取り返す。

こう投げられたところは、さぞ無様だろう。
