先祖は紀伊守貞親と申し、奥州三春田村郡常盤の城主であり、常盤十二郷を領し、公田二万石を預かっていた。三男一女がおり、嫡子は甲斐守、二男は五郎左衛門、三男は伊賀、女子は三坂越前守という者の妻であった。甲斐守の子が五郎左衛門、その子が太郎右衛門盛貞で、初めは戸沢越中守様、また鳥井右京亮様に奉公していたが、寛永十三年子年に鳥井家が断絶した。

そのため浪人となったが、同年八月、土津様が最上に御入部された際に召し出された。
一、寛永十三年子年八月、七十五石を下賜され、御代官に召し出されたこと。
一、同二十年未年八月、会津へ御所替えの節にお供し、猪苗代御代官を仰せ付けられたこと。

The ancestor was called Kii-no-kami Sadachika, lord of Tokiwa Castle in Tamura District, Miharu, Ōshū. He governed twelve villages of Tokiwa and administered 20,000 koku of public rice fields. He had three sons and one daughter: the eldest son was Kai-no-kami, the second son was Gorōzaemon, the third son was Iga, and the daughter was married to a man called Misaka Echizen-no-kami. Kai-no-kami's son was Gorōzaemon, and his son was Tarōemon Morisada, who initially served Tozawa Etchū-no-kami-sama and later Torii Ukyōnosuke-sama. However, in the thirteenth year of Kan'ei (1636), the year of the rat, the Torii family was abolished.

As a result, he became a masterless samurai (rōnin), but in the eighth month of the same year, when Dotsū-sama entered Mogami domain, he was summoned into service.
