今度攘夷 御決

現代語訳
このたび攘夷が御決定となったことにつき、非常の備えをなさるべきである。仙台中将（伊達慶邦）については、来春、大樹（将軍）が上洛されるにあたり、上京される場合においても、随従としてではなく、早々に上京されるようにとの御沙汰（命令・指示）である。
英語訳
In accordance with the decision to implement the policy of expelling foreigners (*jōi*), emergency military preparations are to be made. Regarding the Lord of Sendai, the Chūjō (Middle Captain, i.e., Date Yoshikuni), in connection with the Shogun's (*Taiju*'s) planned journey to Kyoto in the coming spring — if he is to go to Kyoto as well, he is to do so promptly and on his own accord, not as part of the Shogun's accompanying retinue. This is the official order (*osata*).
