Next, the five officials recite ritual prayers at the prayer house. Next, the shrine officials each advance to wait in the inner and outer sanctuaries (as usual). Next, the sacred offerings are removed. At this time, the musicians perform music. Next, the head priest and others each return to their seats. Next, the ritualist closes the sacred doors (everyone prostrates themselves). Next, they make pilgrimage rounds to the auxiliary and minor shrines. Next, the head priest and others each directly offer the sacred provisions and complete the sake cup ceremonies, then all withdraw. Article 1: This time, after the head ritualist temporarily closed the sacred doors of the main hall, the head ritualist immediately performed ritual ablution at the open corridor and hanging veranda of the priests' quarters and returned to his seat. Next, the head priest and other retreat officials, both priests' and ritualists' groups, completed ritual ablution at the same location, returned to their seats, and donned face coverings and gloves. These items are removed in sequence. Regarding this ritual ablution, after consultation at the retreat quarters, both priests' and ritualists' groups perform ablution at the same location. The administrator master serves in this capacity. Article 1: After the temporary relocation of the main shrine was completed and the evening offerings to the temporary hall were presented, the sacred implements of the main shrine's inner sanctuary were removed. The sacred bow, sacred spears, and such were stored in the treasure storehouse, while the rest, including the sacred seaside platform and complete set, were transported and stored in the administrative building. Although they should properly be stored in the treasure storehouse, due to conflicts with incoming items for auxiliary shrines and sacred treasures, they were immediately stored in the administrative building. Article 1: Tonight, for the temporary relocation of the main shrine, ten fire patrol guards were assigned to Hiiragi-hara. Article 1: The sword bearer was assigned regular service as during the five seasonal festivals, and twenty-one shrine attendants were assigned regular service. Since these individuals serve until late at night, the Hiiragi-hara fire patrol guards of ten were given written recognition at the council hall, the sword bearer was given chicken eggs, and the shrine attendants were given one to of rice and one hundred mon for tea money. Article 1: The participating shrine officials, rotating service members, and head administrators were provided with night meals at the retreat quarters. Article 1: The musicians were sent two sho of sake and one box of simmered dishes (shellfish skewers, grilled tofu, kelp, frozen konjac, bamboo shoots). However, seven musicians, wearing purified robes, participated and sat in the music hall as usual to perform music. The program followed the abbreviated format. Article 1: For both the main shrine and auxiliary shrines, as during the five seasonal festivals, offerings of prostrate rabbit, oak leaves, curved rice cakes, carp, sea bream, sacred confections, and such were made. For the auxiliary shrines, four pieces each of sea bream and ray were offered as various sacred provisions. The New Year's spiced sake is...
