一今度就御造営御修復奉行中当地止宿有之候御造営
中は奉行衆棟梁其外普請方之者共参候間馬場表ハ
勿論在所之内ニ而も不法之体ニ而往来無用之事若年之衆中
并小児迄も可被申聞且召仕之者へは其主人ゟ可申渡候
十六才以上は縦雖為近所往来帯刀可有之事
一当番之祠官依輪番自巳刻未刻迄来ル請二月朔日社頭へ
可被相詰日供献進之日は衣冠着用可有之事
一社頭勤番之輩格別之社用筋病気之外ハ可為直参且
名代之義も衣服万端不法無之仁可被相語合尤相番之仁へ
相談之上番代可被差出事
一於社頭高声之雑談有之間敷事尤在番之内浄衣上
下ニ而須曳茂不法之体有之間敷事
一木船日参下鴨参之儀も両社御修復之節ニ候得は衣体
万端其心得可有之事
一鉄炮并網籠等携魚鳥猟之儀堅無用之事
一賭勝負博奕之儀弥停止之事
一喧嘩口論之儀弥急度可被相慎事
一夜分高声之雑談ニ而往来放埒之所作有之間敷事
一二ノ鳥居之前ゟ馬場先へ往来并酒殿手水場ゟ井垣之
根通り聖神寺之前御用之外往来無用之事
一酒殿橋ゟ東川筋へ塵芥不可捨尤面々門前并構之内
掃除可申付事
一火用心弥大切ニ可被相守事

現代語訳
一、今度の御造営御修復につき、奉行中が当地に滞在している。御造営中は奉行衆、棟梁その他普請方の者たちが参るので、馬場表はもちろん、在所の内でも不法な体で往来することは無用の事。若年の衆中並びに小児まで申し聞かせるべし。また召し使いの者へはその主人から申し渡すべし。十六歳以上の者は、たとえ近所であっても往来の際は帯刀すべき事。
一、当番の祠官は輪番により、巳の刻（午前10時頃）から未の刻（午後2時頃）まで、来る二月朔日から社頭へ詰めるべし。日供献進の日は衣冠着用すべき事。
一、社頭勤番の輩は、格別の社用筋、病気以外は直参とすべし。また名代の義についても、衣服万端不法なき仁を相談合わせるべし。もっとも相番の仁へ相談の上、番代を差し出すべき事。
一、社頭において高声の雑談があってはならない事。もっとも在番の内、浄衣上下において裾引き等、不法な体があってはならない事。
一、木船日参、下鴨参の儀についても、両社御修復の節であるので、衣体万端その心得があるべき事。
一、鉄砲並びに網籠等を携えての魚鳥猟の儀は堅く無用の事。
一、賭け勝負、博奕の儀はいよいよ停止の事。
一、喧嘩口論の儀はいよいよ急度慎むべき事。
一、夜分高声の雑談での往来、放埒な所作があってはならない事。
一、二の鳥居の前から馬場先への往来、並びに酒殿手水場から井垣の根通り、聖神寺の前は御用以外往来無用の事。
一、酒殿橋から東川筋へ塵芥を捨ててはならない。もっとも面々門前並びに構えの内の掃除を申し付けるべき事。
一、火の用心はいよいよ大切に相守るべき事。

One item: Regarding the current shrine reconstruction and restoration, the magistrates are staying in the local area. During the reconstruction, magistrate officials, master carpenters, and other construction workers will be present, so improper behavior while traveling not only in the parade grounds but also within the residential areas is forbidden. This should be communicated to young group members and even children. For servants, their masters should convey these instructions. Those sixteen years and older must carry swords when traveling, even in the neighborhood.
One item: The shrine priests on duty, according to rotation, should be stationed at the shrine from the hour of the Snake (around 10 AM) to the hour of the Sheep (around 2 PM), starting from the first day of the coming second month. On days of daily offering presentations, court dress should be worn.
One item: Those on duty at the shrine should attend in person except for special shrine business or illness. Regarding substitutes, consultations should be held with persons whose clothing and conduct are proper. Most importantly, substitute attendants should be appointed after consultation with fellow duty officers.
One item: Loud conversations at the shrine are forbidden. Moreover, while on duty, improper conduct such as dragging the hem of pure white ceremonial dress is prohibited.
One item: Regarding daily visits by wooden boat and visits to Shimogamo, since this is during the restoration of both shrines, proper attention should be paid to dress and conduct in all matters.
One item: Hunting birds and fish while carrying firearms, nets, baskets, etc. is strictly forbidden.
One item: Gambling and betting are absolutely prohibited.
One item: Fighting and quarreling must be strictly avoided.
One item: Loud conversations and licentious behavior while traveling at night are forbidden.
One item: Travel from in front of the second torii to the parade grounds, and from the sake hall hand-washing area through the well fence area to in front of Seishin Temple is forbidden except for official business.
One item: Refuse must not be discarded from Sake Hall Bridge toward the eastern river area. Moreover, each household should be ordered to clean in front of their gates and within their compounds.
One item: Fire prevention must be observed with the utmost care.
