一此度木造始之被為仰付候処難有奉存上候然ル処ニ権大工清右衛門長々
之病気ニ付此度之神役之儀自身ニ出勤被致候儀難成候故為名代
京都之大工出し度候様役大工中江被申候得共先年ゟ病気故障
之者共不定候得は役大工中次第転し代相勤来候間自身之名代ニ
不及候様清右衛門殿へ申談シ置候得共万一名代相立度候様御一社様へ

一、酉刻過ぎに雑掌兼茂一人が伝奏御奉行へ参上し、宣旨使が無事に済んだ旨を御届けし、もっとも取次まで申し置いて退出したとのことである。

一、神主より昨日の宣旨が差し出された件について、その留（控え）は以下の通りである：

一、正大工が罷出し、木造始の役割分担名前書付、および権大工の名代についての委細な書付を差し上げた件について、その留（控え）は以下の通りである：
恐れながら差し上げる口上覚
一、この度木造始を仰せ付けられた処、有難く存じ上げます。しかしながら権大工清右衛門は長々の病気につき、この度の神役の儀を自身で出勤することが難しいため、名代として京都の大工を出したい旨を役大工中へ申しましたが、先年より病気で支障のある者共が不定のため、役大工中で次第に交替して代を相勤めて来ました間、自身の名代には及ばない旨を清右衛門殿へ申し談じ置きましたが、万一名代を立てたい場合は御一社様へ（申し出ることとしております）。

1. After the hour of the Rooster (around 6-8 PM), one attendant named Kanemochi went to the imperial messenger official to report that the imperial edict messenger ceremony had been completed without incident, and after properly informing the intermediary, he withdrew.

Concerning the matter of appointing an auspicious date and time for performing the reconstruction commencement and woodwork starting date:
February 4th《marginal note: Metal Ox day》 at the hour of the Sheep (1-3 PM)
Right Grand Counselor Fujiwara no Asomi Takamochi declares in accordance with the imperial edict: "It is appropriate to perform [the ceremony] according to the appointed date and time. The shrine should take note of this."
This shall be carried out in accordance with the declaration.
