   十一月六日  右ニ付戌半剋比臨時参会右之趣及披露   評一統恐悦之儀ニ候先明日本宮片岡社へ三寸献進御   備輪番正祢宜業久転供当番中片岡社御備当番中   三寸《割書:壱升》御肴《割書:塩鯛》御退ハ本宮分ハ御備并出頭衆中   片岡社分ハ当番中直会可然旨且伝奏御奉行へ御請御礼   被申上可然併今晩ハ及深更候間明日早々出頭可有之各別   之儀ニ候間神主雑掌中出頭可然尚又伝奏ニ而関白様武家   両伝へも御礼之儀可伺武辺へ御届之儀下鴨へ今晩書面ニ而被   聞合可然ニ決且老若中へハ先今日伝奏ニ而被仰渡候書付   被書写若役中へ可被申入尚又武辺ニ而被仰渡之上先格之通   可候得御意旨ニ而可被申渡ニ決寺家一老執行代等も被招   被仰渡之書付を以可申入尤只今可被申渡旨也  七日晴 一早朝御役所筋へ伝奏被仰渡之趣御役所へ御届可申哉并万端為聞  合史顕出頭巳半刻帰郷被得御意候筋有之候間急々小寄会相  催兼頼衆中へも可及案内旨之事 一辰刻比伝奏御奉行へ昨日被仰渡候為御請御礼惣代神主博久  雑掌兼茂出頭巳半刻帰郷演説伝奏御奉行へ御請御礼申上於御伝奏  関白様御両僧へ御礼可申上哉伺候処勝手ニ可相務仰ニ付則相務  且大膳被申候は武辺へ之儀は被仰渡有之候上ニ而掛合可然旨被申云々 一午刻比小寄会神主月番六役之外掛り之衆中参集史顕演説  加納小十郎へ行向候処留守故外ニ而掛り聞合処西御奉行掛り之由故  直ニ西御役所へ参上入江吉兵衛前田忠次郎両所之内へ得御意度旨申込

現代語訳

十一月六日  右について戌半刻頃、臨時参会を行い右の趣を披露した。   評議一同恐悦の儀である。まず明日、本宮片岡社へ三寸を献進し、御   備は輪番正祢宜業久が転供当番中、片岡社御備は当番中が担当する。   三寸(一升)、御肴(塩鯛)、御退は本宮分は御備並びに出頭衆中、   片岡社分は当番中が直会するのが然るべき。また伝奏御奉行へ御請け御礼を   申し上げるべきである。併せて今晩は深更に及ぶため、明日早々出頭すべきで、格別   の儀であるから神主雑掌中が出頭するのが然るべきである。なお伝奏にて関白様武家   両伝へも御礼の儀を伺うべきである。武辺への御届けの儀は下鴨へ今晩書面にて   聞き合わせるのが然るべきと決定した。また老若中へは先ず今日伝奏にて仰せ渡された書付を   書写して若役中へ申し入れるべきである。なお武辺にて仰せ渡された上で先格の通り   であろうから、御意旨にて申し渡すことに決定した。寺家一老執行代等も招いて   仰せ渡しの書付をもって申し入れるべきである。もっとも只今申し渡すべき旨である。  七日晴れ 一、早朝御役所筋へ伝奏の仰せ渡しの趣を御役所へ御届け申すべきか、並びに万端聞き  合わせのため史顕が出頭し、巳半刻に帰郷した。御意を得た筋があるため、急々小寄会を  催し、兼頼衆中へも案内すべき旨のこと。 一、辰刻頃、伝奏御奉行へ昨日仰せ渡された御請け御礼のため、総代神主博久、  雑掌兼茂が出頭し、巳半刻に帰郷した。演説では、伝奏御奉行へ御請け御礼を申し上げ、御伝奏にて  関白様御両僧へ御礼を申し上げるべきかを伺ったところ、勝手に相務めるべきとの仰せにつき則ち相務めた。  また大膳が申したのは、武辺への儀は仰せ渡しがあった上で掛け合うのが然るべき旨を申したとのこと。 一、午刻頃、小寄会にて神主月番六役の外、掛りの衆中が参集した。史顕の演説では、  加納小十郎へ行向したところ留守のため、外にて掛り聞き合わせたところ西御奉行掛りとのことなので、  直ちに西御役所へ参上し、入江吉兵衛、前田忠次郎両所の内へ御意を得たい旨を申し込んだ。

November 6th  Regarding the above, around the half of the Dog hour, an extraordinary assembly was held and the above matter was announced.   The deliberation was a matter of great joy for all. First, tomorrow we will dedicate three sun to Hongu Kataoka Shrine, with   the offerings to be handled by rotating chief priest Naruhisa during his serving duty, and the Kataoka Shrine offerings by those on duty.   Three sun (one sho), sacred fish (salted sea bream), and the withdrawal: for the main shrine portion, the offerings and those in attendance,   for the Kataoka Shrine portion, those on duty will hold the naorai feast as appropriate. Also, gratitude and acknowledgment should be   presented to the Transmitting Chamberlain Magistrate. Since tonight extends late into the evening, attendance should be early tomorrow morning, and since this is   an extraordinary matter, it is appropriate for the head priest and attendants to appear. Furthermore, through the Transmitting Chamberlain, gratitude should also be   expressed to both His Excellency the Regent and the military transmission. Regarding notification to the military authorities, it was decided appropriate to   inquire with Shimogamo tonight in writing. Also, for the senior and junior members, first the document issued today by the Transmitting Chamberlain should be   copied and presented to the junior officials. Furthermore, after instructions are given by the military authorities, it will likely follow   previous precedent, so it was decided to convey this according to the honorable intention. Temple officials, senior monks, and deputy administrators were also invited   and should be informed with the document of instructions. Of course, this should be conveyed immediately.  7th day, clear weather 1. Early morning, regarding whether to report the matter of the Transmitting Chamberlain's instructions to the government office, and for various inquiries,  Shigen appeared and returned home at the half of the Snake hour. Since there were matters requiring honorable intention, a small assembly was  urgently convened, and notice should also be given to the cooperating group members. 1. Around the Dragon hour, for gratitude and acknowledgment regarding yesterday's instructions from the Transmitting Chamberlain Magistrate, representative head priest Hirohisa and  attendant Kaneshige appeared and returned home at the half of the Snake hour. In the report, gratitude and acknowledgment were presented to the Transmitting Chamberlain Magistrate, and when inquiring through the Transmitting Chamberlain  whether gratitude should be presented to His Excellency the Regent and both Buddhist priests, they were told to handle it at their discretion, so they proceeded accordingly.  Also, Daizen stated that regarding military matters, consultation should occur after instructions have been given. 1. Around the Horse hour, at the small assembly, besides the head priest monthly duty and six officials, the responsible members gathered. In Shigen's report,  when going to see Kano Kojuro, he was absent, so inquiring about responsibilities elsewhere, it was learned that it was under the jurisdiction of the West Magistrate, so  immediately going to the West Government Office, a request was made to obtain honorable intention from either Irie Kichibei or Maeda Tadajiro.
